I'm the wife, daughter, sister, friend and working mom who has given in to the emotional outlet that is blogging. I started this as a way for family and friends to see weekly pictures of my ever growing belly while baking Baby McGlothin. Now I have opened this up to the world, or at least anyone who cares to hear my ramblings. I have come to love writing on this blog (and The Bump)and Luke loves that I no longer ramble to him :) After four long months, the pumping factory has been shut down and we are now feeding frozen milk (what can I say, the ladies produced over 1000 extra ounces and the freezer was left with no room for DiJiorno's pizza and Hot Pockets- both of which are keys to survival in a post-baby household). And while I LOVED my time as a stay-at-home-mom, I always knew I wanted to go back to work. Some women are simply born to be Betty Crocker, Suzy Homemaker, mini-van driving soccer moms... and then there's me. It has taken some adjusting, but I am loving my new job with a medical software company.

This man is my best friend and the most wonderful husband and father a girl could ask for. I may be biased, but he's also super sexy! We are travelling this thing called life, the ups with the downs, the good with the bad. It doesn't matter to us, as long as we are travelling together. We met at a bar- won't that be a lovely story to tell our children! He was a bouncer and I the ever-loyal patron. A few too many later, we realized we had the same birthday (the same date, only he blessed the planet with his presence four years earlier than moi) and thought it was fate. After meeting his sweet daughter, I knew I'd already had the last first kiss of my life. A few months later he "put a ring on it" and in June of 2007 we became hubby and wifey. Yes, he's a big man (former body builder) and I'm a bit petite (former size 0) but hey, Paula Abdul got it right when she said "Opposites Attract."
